The service life of the tools and the operating instructions

We all know her the parcel joy! The much longed-for product is quickly unpacked and immediately put into operation. It looks good and is easy to handle. Now everything will be easier to handle - the sense and purpose of investing in good tools. Now this tool should also meet its investment costs. To do this, it needs a maximum service life.

But the service life of the tools and their durability depends on important factors:

  • The right maintenance
  • The right operating parameters
  • The accessories to be used
  • The safety and danger information

Maintenance:

The prescribed intervals according to the operating instructions are relevant for this. e.g. daily or weekly lubrication of the tool and also cleaning play a major role here.

The operating parameters:

The maximum drive pressure has a very special significance here. The maximum inlet pressure is specified and prescribed in every operating manual. Often there are higher pressures in the compressed air supply than is good for the tool. Filter regulators and safety valves can be used here to ensure the maximum working pressure. The temperature range should also not be underestimated here. Machines and tools are made of different materials and therefore have different temperature limits. The ambient temperature and the medium being transported can quickly exceed the limits and lead to unexpected material breakages.

The accessories used:

It is best to use the original accessories at to get the most out of their function and durability. Important parameters are ensured by using the correct and suitable accessories. For example, the right material matching for socket wrenches. Do not use handheld wrenches (they are not suitable for impact tools). Only use socket wrenches for striking tools. You will find the right tool accessories in our extensive range. We will be pleased to advise you on this.

The safety and danger information:

These are not only a legal obligation but also necessary in your own interest for accident-free work.

With all these recommendations I wish you much pleasure with your tools.
